73-87 swap?
What all is involved? I want to take the front clip and rear axle from a 85 C10 and put it in a 60-66(not sure which year yet). I know I will have to weld perches on the new axle if the 60-66 is trailing arm susp. I will be also putting in a Hydroboost system. Thanks.

this guy did the front clip thing. I think it's a pretty great idea. Wish I would have thought of it.

That has been done by many, many, many people. It is a very common way to convert to disc brakes....the best way IMO. Here is a thread with a bunch of info in it on the front upgrade. I did my first one almost 30 years ago.

You'll need to weld on trailing arm mounts as well as a panhard bar mount. The '71-'87 differentials are 1.5" wider overall. Let me know if you need any brackets for your hydroboost conversion, as well as the power steering box adapter plate.
