John, thanks. I used a camaro subframe. It got me the lower A-arm suspension, disc brakes and power steering all in one shot.

Biddaboy, I've been checking that 55 out. Cool truck! I thought I read in an earlier post that you were yanking that cab to use on another frame. Is that still the plan? That thing would make one SWEET slide bed!

Yeah I am going to put the cab on a 69 half-ton frame,should make for a unique ride,whens the last time you seen a 1955 5window cab truck .I will keep you updated on my progress. biddaboy
