Re: Project '86
Not nailed down on a color yet but leaning towards a blue or blue/white two tone. Think colors that would have been on cars in the 50's-60's.

Re: Project '86
Picked them up today, just need a little TLC and they will look awesome. As a bonus, with this smaller wheel/tire combo I can turn lock to lock laid out and not hit a thing!

Re: Project '86
Wheel combo is right on.
Color suggestion .... two tone blue & white - early 70's chevrolet trucks or square body years. That'd look kick ass. Ratty 46 |

Re: Project '86
Nothing planned other than the fenders that are in there now. I would love to use a dimple die on those inner fenders but I don't have one and in my small part of East Texas that isn't something a business around here would have.

Re: Project '86
Those are perfect rims for your ride. I wish I could afford any kind in intros. They are by far the sickest wheel manufacturer. I have a bagged 85 c10 and I am rocking the rallys. Cheap but with the beauty rings it looks sharp. How did you get your front level? Chop up the crossmember?

Your metal working skills are so impressive. I wish my skill level was even 1/2 of yours!

Re: Project '86
I just read through this entire thread- and have been thouroughly(sp) entertained. You work is penomenal. I want a crew cab dually with this same stance. I was planning a porterbuilt front end, and 2x4'ing the frame, like you, and trimming the lower portion that's left. Awesome work you've done there!
