radio install

please post some pics on your radio and how it is mounted just trying to get some ideas.

Not a very good picture, but here's a shot of mine back when it had a radio. I simply used two radio faceplates back to back. The one touching the dash had the reverse taper and snugged perfectly into the cavity with no trimming. With a gear drive, 4 speed and throaty exhaust my truck makes so much music of its own I haven't bothered with a radio for 15 years.

Just remembered that I needed to get a pic for you and my camera was dead, so I took a picture with my iPhone and a flashlight I fabbed up this metal plate and bolted it to the dash. Sorry for the crappy pic.

I like it. that is kinda what I was thinking I wonder if anyone sells an install kit like that?
