Bel air

A little off the beaten path here, but I'm looking at a 64 Bel air station wagon, but I cant seem to find any parts on the internet, can anyone of you tell me where I can find parts for these? will Impala parts work for this also? I told him that I was going to do some research before I purchase. it needs to have all 4 doors replaced, one finder, the grille, but the rest is in pretty good shape, pretty sure the gas tank will also need replaced if it can not be cleaned, and I think it is worth he is asking, besides when it is done it should be pretty cool. Thanks.

Re: Bel air

OK(lahoma) -
I used to have a 65 Imp and I used Year One as my primary parts supplier. Yes, generally speaking - Impala parts will fit your bel air. Bel Air is just a "less flashy" impala. Fenders, front doors (not sure about the rear doors, but assume yes also), and fuel tank should all interchange. Trim would need to be Bel Air specific, but Year One sells all the Bel Air trim also. I think you might be able to find all you need at Year One. Here's the link if you want to check it out before you buy.

Re: Bel air

I think the front doors will interchange with a 4 door sedan, the rear doors are wagon only(the top window portion is the only difference).
-so you may be able to re skin them with a 4 door skin if that is all that is wrong with them.
the fuel tank will be 63/64 wagon only..might be a tough piece to find if it is not reproduced.
all the front sheetmetal will interchange off any 64.
