Anybody got a picture of the 63 rear drum e'brake cable attachment to the trailing arm? where the end of the heavy stainless sheath is attached near the coil spring.

Heater, are you looking for a pic of the clamp itself?
or of it in an installed situation?

Re: '63 E-brake

Installed. I thought I remembered a clamp, but I dont even see a hole in my trailing arms that you would attach a clamp or clip. I cleaned and painted mine, but didn't remove any attachment point or weld any hole up! It's got me scratching my head here.

Thanks for the help!

Re: '63 E-brake

FWIW I put an eye bolt in the training arm to neaten up the installation of the cables..each side. The cable assembly locks into the backing plate as you probably know. Works for me.

Re: '63 E-brake

Thanks but we're not there yet,
I need to see how the reinforced stainless steel sheath that comes out of backing plate is secured to the trailing arm. This is in the area of the coil spring.
