91 Burb Front Clip
I have a complete 1991 suburban front core support, headlights, wiring, grille, and headlight buckets....
the core support has been por'd so it's good to go... everything is in pristine condition except the grill emblem is cracked... I cannot tell yall how good of shape this thing is in... was wondering what yall think its worth...I think I'm gonna put it on my truck, but I might sell it depending...thanks fellas... |

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
I took a brief look at your truck. The newer front clips look great on street trucks, a little bit of a more modern look. I also like the 84 style, just depends on me for the look you want out of your truck. I got the same style grill on my 89 burb and i love it. I'd think you could get close to 200 if everything is there. How are the headlight bezels? Is it a GMC or Chev grill?

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
everything looks to be in good shape. The price all depends on where you live. That conversion is not really popular here any more so the price is a lot lower than previous years. I would say around here, you would get $200. maybe a bit more but not much.

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
The support with lamps, wires and grille/bezels goes for $150 here. You can get $200 to $250 if your sheet metal goes with it and is in good shape, meaning basically the entire front clip. Granted you've cleaned up your support already, but you say you POR15'd it? I'm not a fan of the stuff, and to me that would deduct from the value. I'm weird though.

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
If it were for sale around here I'd say $200-$250. Sounds like it's in real nice shape.

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
in my neck of the woods you could prolly get closer to $3-350 cause of the rust issues here in the salt belt

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
Actually, if the grille and bezels are in really awesome shape, you could get $100 all day long just for them, easy. Probably more. Good used grilles are rare in these parts. Also, I'll admit most of the stuff I see around here for the price I said, is in not real great shape, needing total work overs.
No doubt in my mind what you have is worth more than the junk around here.

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
I'm going to be putting a new OEM bowtie on the grill ...once I do that, the whole package will be flawless that I can tell...nothing needs to be restored or refurbished on it...

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
Having a hard time making up your mind buddy!??? If anyone is interested, everything is in amazing shape and the wiring is done so you just plug it into your firewall and go. The lights are bright as heck too!

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
thanks buddy...I appreciate the review...I think it's in awesome condition...I can guarantee once I get the new emblem in the grill you won't find a nicer setup anywhere...maybe as nice, but not nicer....
and yeah I don't know what I want to do, but figured I'd like to know what it's worth if I decide to sell it...noone has said I should keep it yet...lol...I don't think it goes with the retro look I'm going with anyways... |

Re: 91 Burb Front Clip
The bowties are available from GM still, and fairly cheap. GM part # is 15617085 if it helps any at all.
