I agree! I didn't know one like that existed? Never knew GM made one without vents. Looks smooth

The green must be his body color, and the lack of vents means he has no A/C

There are vents there. I also had a '73 with the same short plastic covers with the vents. I am not sure what year they extended it all the way to the floor...maybe '75 or '76?

Do they give you more room than the factory bench all the way back?

Were they hard to adapt to the truck?

Thanks in advance!!!

-CaliDude

I really can't remember how much room they have relative to the old bench seat... I'm 6'2 and they seem to fit me perfectly. most comfy seat I think I've ever had.

They're out of a burban and have the fold down armrests built in. I used the burban seat tracks, but originally at the back they bent downward to bolt to the floor. I had to bend them at an upward angle to fit the floorpan of the truck. This however left the seat bottom sitting level to the floor which hurt my hips, so I made new risers for the front to raise the front only 1.5" or 2" higher, tilting the seat bottom up in the front. worked out perfectly.

Here you can see where the bend in the rear is (bottom of pic)

Here's the new risers I made for the front. The old ones were 1.5" to 2" shorter. This was a MUST for me... You can also see the spacers I made out of SS pipe to raise the front of the console up so drinks would sit level.

I should have been more specific, I was talking about the A/C vents on the dash.

Woods Slats stained headliner was falling. Temp fix I'm going to get the headliner fixed this winter more than likely. I just can't decide if I'm going to go back red with it or if I want to do some modifications to it.

I know it's a quick fix but it really looks sharp! Might consider keeping them there...

Re: Interior pics???

No I didn't do it. They were that way when I got the truck. PO did it with his dad. I installed the 69 rosewood repo wheel and the Covan dash with Autometer gauges and Dakota Digital indicator pod.

God Bless, Terry :-)

I don't think it's carpet that they used, it looks more like seat fabric, but I'm probably wrong.

I don't know if it's just me but your billet aluminum bezel insert and dash insert looks like it's a different shade than the brushed on your doors.....could be just the picture.....but is it? and BTW it looks really nice!
