Electric fuel pump ?

Today we dropped the drivers fuel tank to repair or replace the fuel pump on my brothers 87 truck, when we got the pump out we found the connecting bit between the pump and fuel line had disintergrated.

My Q is, does any one have a pic of what it all looks like so we can repair it?

You need a small section of SAE 30R10 (fuel submersible rating) 3/8" fuel line between fuel pump outlet port and fuel sending through port. Do not substitute commonly available SAE 30R7 or SAE 30R9 - you'll be back to where you are in no time at all. Sorry, but I do not have any photos handy, usually by the time you drop the tank you are too tired to take photos

This is what one fellow did to convert his non EFI El Camino to TBI

and this is the stock fuel pick-up module minus fuel pump and sock
