bought new wheels/tires
Well, I finally did it. I ordered up some new wheels and tires for my project truck. I went with 17x8's with 255/55/17s. Here's a pic of the wheels...

Cool. Sweet looking rims. So are you going to stay with six lug I assume?

You beat me to 'em! I put that wheel beside my truck to see what it would look like and MAN, it looks awesome on our 67-72's. The rounded edges accent the rounded curves of these models very well. Which brand is that?
Good choice on the tire size too. ------------------ "FOUNDING MEMBER" of ClassicHeartbeat My Website My 67 CST Carolina Classic Trucks Inc. - coming soon

Yep.... staying with the 6 lugs. I'm still stuck in the era of 4 corner drums *sigh* Don't have money to convert to disks, and I have all new brakes so it doesnt stop that bad.
I've seen these on a late 90s chevy, the 5 lug/5 spoke version and it looked *****in. I was going to go with a different rim originally, but it was currently in between production runs so no one had the right size/backspacing available. This is just Eagle brand. But the price of these wheels along with the tires is more than I paid for my entire truck back 3 years ago.
