hey, im trying to figure out what year my 350 is. What numbers do i need to look for? and where are they? pictures would help alot

Casting number should be on the back side of the block behind the drivers side head facing up. should be able to see it from the top if I remember correctly.

Casting date will be opposite the casting number or on one of the bellhousing bosses. Look for alpah-numeric.

suffix code on the front of the motor pass. side under the alt. will better help tell the year of the engine, but the casting helps alot. I'd get both. Some of the newer blocks have the casting on the top flat on the pass. side on the back.
