Driveshaft help

Hey guys my Buddy has an 84 K10 Shortbed 4x4 with 700R4 Trans and 208 T-case.....The rear driveshaft is gone and the only part we recovered is the yoke that slides into the T-case.

I found a Driveshaft for sale, From an 82 Shortbed 4x4 (same truck) but it had an SM465 4 speed manual with 208 T-case.

The guy swears it's the same because the difference is made up with the Adapter on the back of the SM465...

Is the Driveshaft the same?

OR if someone has a 700R4 4x4 Shortbed can you PLEASE measure your driveshaft from Weld To weld?? We don't even have the shaft to measure off of....

Re: Driveshaft help

Slide the yoke you have into the T-case and measure to the center of the yoke on the rear differential. Measure his from the center of the u-joint rollers and compare. That should give you a pretty good idea if it will work.
