Re: Blazer/burban rear bumper

You don't need the inner. They are like 50$ each new. Just bolt it in with the outers and put the inner bolts in the bumper for show.

I did this . It is plenty strong

Re: Blazer/burban rear bumper

I love the way the tucked rear bumper looks, but if you get hit in the back by even a bicycle, it's gonna drive the bumper into the rear end of the bedsides, especially if you use only outer or inner brackets alone.

Basically whatever happens, if anything taps that bumper, its time for paint.

Re: Blazer/burban rear bumper

I only have the outer brackets on mine as well, most any thing that hits it from rear will probably be higher than my bumper any way so ,,,,,,,,,,,
no differance than have'n a roll pan like I have on my '88 S10 .
also all three of my trucks need paint any way so hopefully they decent insurance .

Re: Blazer/burban rear bumper

Blazer and burb ones both fit. Only the outer brackets from them fit. You will need to find a truck with a sport bumper to get the inners. ( good luck with that) or order new inners. Or like me only run the outer brackets.
