Ball Joints
Hey all, i'm having a bit of trouble. I did the swap for disc brakes about a year ago and i did it using 73 spindles. Well i found out that the spindles were like 2" shorter first off and now i'm finding that the ball joints arent sitting quite right as they are tearing their sleaves and not staying lubricated, causing my power steering to be a pain. I was wondering if i need some different ball joints or what i can do to make this thing right.
Thanks All in Advance, Greg ------------------ 69 Custom 20, 396BB,Longbed fleetside. Edelbrock performer RPM-O, Edelbrock 750Carb, Headers, HEI. SN= Ares220

Ohh yes i used 73 ball joints and i still had to do a little bit of fitting work. Like the lower castle nut is upside down and i bored out the spindles a very small bit. Thanks

As far as the spindle height goes: even using the 71-72 spindles will lower the front end quite a bit compared to the drum setup. I wish I could get the drums' stance with disks while keeping the factory spring heights.
