Holiday Shopping List for our trucks
Ok guys
My wife knows i hate surprises even at christmas..so she asks me to make a list of the things I want and then i get some of the things ( because my list is usually long and or expensive) I thought to help you all out this holiday season if we could all make out post here and accidently on purpose let our other halves, parents, or whomever gets you gifts this year get a look at it...... lets keep it truck related gifts Id like a crate motor for my truck a three inch lift kit maybe a dash pad and seat cover How about you all??

Re: Holiday Shopping List for our trucks
I'd like a new 81-87 4x4 or manual trans cab with no rust to magically install itself on my 87 V15, and a proper era fleetside box to replace the 88-98 style one currently on my truck.

Re: Holiday Shopping List for our trucks
a new dash pad or carpet for my Dually
Speeedway Motor's has some valve covers for a small block that look like vintage Olds Rocket valve covers and a repro air filter assy. that would be sweet on my blue S10 with an Old's grill . a tunnel ram set up for my red S10 . I'll be lucky if I get an air fresh'ner ,,,, although I did buy my self 22" TowNasty wheels and EVERY thing I need to bag the Dually for Christmas ! my girlfreind is fynaly learn'n that she is better off to ask what I want rather than to try to suprice me .

I imagine whatever I ask for, I'll be expected to reciprocate with a gift of greater or equal value. So I suppose I'll just give her a little something nice and not ask for anything for myself.

Re: Holiday Shopping List for our trucks
Have my spare rally's powdercoated and mounted on a set of 255/70/15 BFG Radial T/A's.
New interior parts (door panels, carpet, dash pad). New solid rear window (in lieu of the ugly universal slider that's in there now). Trans temp gauge - stocking stuffer? New shocks. However, with me being unemployed and having a new baby, we'll be focusing on the kids only this year, which is just fine.

Re: Holiday Shopping List for our trucks
I'd like a cab and 2wd short bed frame, or lwb one to cut down, and make my own truck eventually turning it into a 2wd 73-80 round light front end, cowl hood and such. I'd be happy to get a bare rolling frame and/or cab. frame don't even have to roll lol I aint picky.

Re: Holiday Shopping List for our trucks
For the '71 some 20" rims and dat box of goodies, from Brothers, that I have been waiting on for (1) month now. For the '70 I would like Santa's helpers to pull the (2) engines, swap out the crossmember, drop the 454 in w/a few goodies, put it all back together, put dropped spindles and springs in front, flip kit in back and I think I could handle the rest. lol

Re: Holiday Shopping List for our trucks
hmmm....either getting my 700r4 and 12 bolt with 3.73s and locker installed (they're sitting in the garage waiting for time and money)
or..... have my exhaust done right, from the header back. it's kinda rigged up right now it's a toss up, but i think i'll get more enjoyment out of the new tranny and rear-end

Either money to get my LS swap started proper, or continuing to let me spend the money and be ok with it!
