Re: My wrangler
Ya, only canadians got em.... Nice to see another one. Are you planning to keep it a wrangler?
I too have a wrangler... 1987 GMC Wangler, two tone. 305/TH400. Midnight black on steel grey metalic. Hope you like mine, and maybe a little insperation. Last pic is when i first got it, and the first is the most recent pic. All original, including paint. Just a whole lot of cleaning. Thats it.

Re: My wrangler
Hey thanks for the welcome everyone. GmcChris I actually had saved a few pics of you truck to my desktop while looking on here a while ago lol. I'm really wanted to do it up as a sierra classic in black with the trim, but seeing how nice yours looks make me wanna just keep it a Wrangler!
I got the truck to my garage today and started tearing the interior out so i can fix the floor and rockers (still not exactly sure how lol) Here's some pics. If anyone knows a good thread on floor pan replacement and rocker replacement they'd be much appreciated. I've searched the site for them but i'm still a little unclear where to start! |

Re: My wrangler
Also another question, I've got my breather cover off and looking at my vacuum hose diagram the vacuum motor is on the stock breather. So if I was to get an aftermarket air filter setup would I be able to ditch most of my emissions junk?? I really want to have a super simple clean looking motor with none of this vacuum hose junk on it. Thanks!

Re: My wrangler
Something you don't see around where I live is cab roof lights on a 5 lug truck. I've only ever seen those on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.

Re: My wrangler
I love it aswell. I hope you do, lol. My favorite scheme on the squares. Funny cause i wasn't looking for one. Just kinda showed up at the shop i worked at, and it was for sale. Already had it sold before he put the sign in it.

Re: My wrangler
I can get some better pics of the emblem tomorrow when I'm back at home. I ordered a new floor pan and inner and outer rockers from lmc truck. I'm not sure as to where I should start? Rockers first floor first oh I got cab corners too. If anyone can tell me the right order or things I should watch for, as I've never replaced these things! I have welding experience and acces to a welder so that's no problem I'm just wondering what the proper way to go about it is. Thanks a lot!

Re: My wrangler
So I just got off the phone with LMC and their shipping prices are insane to canada!! Does anyone know a supplier in canada that sells similar parts??(floor pan rockers and cab corners) 375$ shipping on 100$ worth of parts is not worth it at all......
