Got some Mittler Bros Flare Dies for Christmas, can't wait to get started on my interior...
Need to clean up my bead roller dies a bit first though... |

Re: Project '86
just wondering. Maybe its just me or the way I am looking at it. Is the bed slanted to the rear? if you look at the body line it kinda looks like the center of the truck is higher and the bed slants down hill. I have seen a few pics of trucks that looks like this. Jus wondering if it was jus tme.

Re: Project '86
I might be a little low in the rear. That last pick makes it look real bad but it's not off that much if any. I basically used the gap to the cab and eyeballed it straight.

As weird as it may sound I'd really like to see more pics of that full size Chevy van w/the orange flames from turkey drag if anyone has pics.

I had this dilemma with the bodyline and have seen it on most other bagged c-10's, I believe it because the bodyline dips down as it gets towards the front, so if the back is sitting lower than the front and the forward bodyline is levelish it makes the back look wonky. I only cottoned on when I had the back sitting up a bit and it looked right. Thanks for the constant updates and pics to. |

Re: Project '86
Any idea if any interior work done in that van? You don't see too many vans out there custom like that so it's nice to see when one comes around. Maybe I appreciate vans b/c I took my driver's test in one and I work on wheelchair lifts in vans all day too

No updates, it's been pretty cold and lots of rain so no work is being done.

Dude x2 this weather sucks this time a year. At least we're not buried in snow though. I don't think I've touched mine since November

Re: Project '86
Okay, I am marking TEX MEX on my calendar for my first show this year. It is April 15-17 so not a whole lot of time to get some more work done. Weather is getting nicer so hope to have progress up soon...
