Re: Your 2011 Plans For Your 60-66?
I plan to bring the parts that are currently sitting in the cab outside into the basement. I have some parts in a stall in the barn that also need to come in. I hope to make a dolly for the cab and put a tarp over the darn thing. I've got to decide whether to build a 2-wheel drive or stick with my original plan of a 4-wheel drive. I guess the main plan is to allow it to continue to age. Of course it would be cool to find some axles and springs to put under the frame, but I don't want to over-reach.

Hmmm... install new rear bumper, new door locks, seatbelts and mirrors. Rattle can paint the box to match the front a bit better. Install the LS 6.0L/4L80 that I just finished pulling from the donor truck. Pipe c-notch the rear too.

Front disc brake conversion w/ drop spindles, 2 in spacers and a CPP C notch in rear , swap in the 12 bolt rear diff out of my 77 blazer. Replace the missing drivers side window.
Would love to find a 3 duece intake set up too.

Re: Your 2011 Plans For Your 60-66?
I hope to sort through my pile of parts and have enough to build a truck. I may try to trade my almost running 81 Short wide with 454/th400 for a running 60-66 c10.

Mechanically sound.
Then I will move on to looks. For 2011 = get it to be a safe and dependable rig - that's it.

I'll drive mine to Hoedown and Lonestar Roundup, maybe put my ZZ4 in sometime between now and then. Powdercoat my new instument insert, billet doesn't fit my truck...build a fan shroud. Mostly just continue driving the wheels off of it

Re: Your 2011 Plans For Your 60-66?
My plans? Actually work on it.
More specifically, however, I hope to find a frame that we can steal from another truck to put under my '66. That's about the only goal I have set for it. Gotta keep it realistic as far as I'm capable of doing.

Ummm, I would like to repaint it....unless the body shop will do it for free, I don't see it happening in 2011.
