just remember, no matter how bad it gets......somebody else has always got it worse.

As an example.....a good buddy thats single and was doing really well in life but now has been out of work for almost 3 years....just imagine what all he's had to sell.

I feel your pain. There's been alot of selling going on at my place to keep the lights on. I'm sorry for your loss, as well. Family is one thing there is no replacement for.

Hang in there Bud. Life is sucking for a whole lot of us. Sorry about your truck. We all feel your pain. There are too types of people these days, those who have suffered and are suffering, and those who will at some point.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. Especially the family. But you will get another truck, and it will be even more special than the last one. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

No one counts how many times you get knocked down only how many times you get back up. I never say why did this happen to me I just say ok what do I need to do to resolve this.

Once when I "thought" I was having a hard time, I met a guy with a tatoo that said, "Get Knocked Down Seven Times, Get Up Eight". He was an ex Marine and really nice guy. This was their moto from his Drill Instructor, and I think about that saying often, because without adversity, thriumph is meaningless.--jeff

I was just wondering what you can do for work. I really don't know what you were doing but up North here we are doing alot of contruction. If you don't know anything about it you can always start as a laborer. They make about $15 and hour to start and you work your way up from there. Sorry to hear about all your misfortunes. I hope it gets better for you.

Only "magic" advice that I can give you is what you already have there. "Bad luck" normally doesn't have your name on it, it just happens. I play like the turtle, suck in my head and wait for bad luck to pass ...and it will. As far as the truck goes, ou can get another one ...and make it BETTER! Start plan how now!!! ....Good Luck my friend, you ain't alone.

Sorry to hear about your string of misfortunes, especially the loss of your grandfather...hang in there. Mine came at the 2009 new year (daily driver got totaled, lost my job, had to sell my dragster, and lost a close family friend). It will pass and you'll be stronger and more resilient for it.

My thoughts are with you as well. Those are terrible losses to have to suffer at any time, especially all at once.

Like many of us, our trucks and working on them are a way to get away from the world. I'm sorry yours is gone, and I truly pray that you find another as soon as possible.

So much good advice and all this time I thought this board was about trucks.

I'm reminded of another little tid bit:
There are no problems, only solutions.

Anoher thing I've been doing to get by is putting my skills I've learned as a auto hobbiest and home owner out there to bring in some income. I've been working on people's cars and doing some home improvement stuff. I have alot of tools and experience that most people don't and it's worked out pretty well. I've been putting alot of stuff up on CL and evil-bay and I've probably made about $1,000 on crap that I've been wanting to sell.
