284 480 crane cam ?

I have a late model 350 block with early model heads with a 284 480 crane cam. My ? is were does the timing need to be at. I have it at 10 degrees right know. It runs well but just wondering. Thanks again

Is it installed straight up or 4 degrees advanced? Also, what are you doing with the truck? If it runs good, cranks good, and shuts off good leave it alone and drive it. I would try it at 16 degrees, about 32 total with vacuum advance unhooked for setting the timing for max performance.
