injector placement question

I couldnt think of a better title. Basically I am going to be re-doing the engine harness with some

and while staring at the engine, I was thinking about rotating the injectors 180* so the connector is pointing towards the intake v/s stock position of pointing outwards. I think this will make the engine harness a little cleaner. I dont think it will affect driveability b/c of the injectors are rotated, but I dont know.
Anyone here done something like this before?

Re: injector placement question

I thought that they only went in one way. I just had my injectors cleaned and the clips would only go on if the injector is placed that way. Maybe that's only on the 2008 and up.

Re: injector placement question

I have an 01 and an 04 both with the injectors turned in to help hide the wiring.
