Can you interchange 1/2 ton grille with a 1 1/2 ton 55 chevy truck

I was thinking of buying a 55 chevy 1.5 ton truck. Can i put a 1/2 ton grille in the 1.5 ton 55 chevy truck?

I would like to know for sure allso but I was told the hood was a little wider and the fenders had a bigger radius for the 20" wheel that they used.I have a 56 3800 with a mint cab&front clip but I'm working on a 58 3200.So all the measurements wont work for me to find out if they are the same or not.I was told that the cab and doors will interchange among the TF trucks

If not that would be ok,i like the bigger wheel opening thinking about making a 55 1.5 ton truck in to a 1 ton 4x4 long bed stepside.

I don't know for sure, but I think the grill will fit.
The hoods are all the same size.
All the cabs are pretty much the same, maybe the floor panel is different not sure.
The LCFs are different in the obvious areas, but many cab panels interchange there too.

I assume we are talking about an Advance Design 55 first series? If so the front clip/body panels for the 1.5 ton truck are different than the 1.2 to 1 ton AD trucks. The parts do not interchange. The grill is wider and taller, the fenders are different and the hood is different. The cab and doors are the same though.

If you are talking about a 55-59 Task Force model truck then I believe the sheet metal does interchange. I may be wrong though as my wife is fond of pointing out.

Yes i was talking about the 55-59 big trucks,i was thinking they would made a mean looking 4x4
