Re: question on surburban im looking to buy

I would say buy it, offer a little low to start, just to feel the guy out.
look at the area above the wind shield, behind the doors ( 1/4 panels) and all around the tailgate.

Re: question on surburban im looking to buy

Thats looks pretty good for 12hun. From the doors forward they are the same as pickup , but from the doors back they don't repop any sheet metal. The tough to find parts are the tailgate and lift gate and the supports. The seats are hard to find too, I have sold complete sets for 600 needing recovering. Any rust should be visible as there is no secret spots, just the usual rust out spots.

Re: question on surburban im looking to buy

ok thanks guys i really have to look over the back and make sure their no major issues not showing, if they dont repop thats gonna stress my beginner metalworking/welding skills im gonna see if i cant make it up their soon. any ideas what he means by 5 spd? is he counting reverse too, did they offer a 5spd? or did he do a typo? thought the 3 spd and sm420 were the only trans in the smaller rigs c40-up having the 5's. most likely a 305v6 right? or is it too uch too hope for a 351?

That's cheap!. I would not hesitate or you could miss out. Buckle down and decide if you want a project, then go see it. If it is complete, runs, and is not swiss cheese, you will be able to get your money out of it easily if it turns out you can't handle the work.

Re: question on surburban im looking to buy

i am shure you could resell it for that much or more if it was cleaned up or parts out so there is very small risk!!!for that price!!!
