Wires to starter?
I did the HEI swap and used the instructions from the forum. One thing I couldn't find for sure was the wires to the starter. I have the big power wire from the battery and a purple wire going to the "s" terminal on the starter. Are these the only wires I should have?

Re: Wires to starter?
Been a long time but that sound right. The other wire that went down there was like a bypass in the start position from the old points wire to get 12 volts to the starter solenoid.

Re: Wires to starter?
Thanks guys. Now if I can just get it spinning fast enough to fire. I am going to pick up the new 350 this week and wanted to get the old 307 running before I took it out. That way I can make sure my wiring is right and if I decided to sell the 307, I could let the buyer Know it will run.
