Window Felt
I replaced the window felts on an 81 GMC and now have trouble cranking the windows up or down.Any suggestions?

try lubing the tracks that the glass slides in. i dont remember what is the best to use. i have heard a few things...

There is some adjustability in the track by removing panel, loosening bolt and moving rearward slightly. I did the same.

I think it is because the new pieces are thicker than the originals

Do you mean Silicone because that is the stuff your supposed to use.
