Alignment

Do any of the alignment guys know how to adjust the caster & camber on a HHR? Or if it can be done.
Thanks, George

Re: Alignment

I wish I could answer your question,... but I can not.
Are there any HHR Message Boards on the net?

Re: Alignment

I looked on ALLDATA, and they say that the caster is not adjustable. The camber can be adjusted by elongating the lower strut mount hole? I do this kind of adjustment on a lot of cars. At my shop we usually elongate the upper hole on the strut by grinding the hole out towards the tire. Then we set up the alignment machine. with Both bolts snug, not tight, we will loosen the upper bolt, and have someone pull the top of the tire, until we get very close to 0 camber. Then tighten both bolts up. YES, I know 0 is not the recommended setting, but will give the best tire wear. THEN set the toe to a factory setting.
