A Question for those laying frame with a stepside

What tire/wheel size combo are you using for the rear? Offset? Do you have room to go bigger if you wanted? Stock axle?

If we decide to go this route we will be using the stock axle and are trying to figure out wheel/tire combo for the rear.

Re: A Question for those laying frame with a stepside

Are you wanting something real wide or just big diameter or both?

If you go with custom offset wheels you can go 10" wide wheels no problem. With a stepside you don't have much room for a lot of dish (front offset) unless you narrow the rear end or widen the bed (see my build thread). There is a lot of room however for additional back spacing.

Here are some links for ya. Maybe PM the owners for specifics?:

Both-- I would like to fill up the flare as much as possible without cutting into the bedside if at all possible. Not sure if I will have to cut into it for the notch or not...

I did PM one user but he has yet to respond, I will be getting parts in any day now and need to pick a truck to start on lol.
