All,

Anyone replaced a 1983 speedometer head with a 1978 speedometer head?
Will i have problems if i replace my 1983 speedometer with a 1978 speedometer?

Physically it will fit, but there may be differences in the lower window for choke and 4wd lights.

Thanks, for the reply. So, i should be ok if i just exchange the speedometer housing and not the entire cluster?
