After market CPP front sway bar
Does anyone have a front sway bar from CPP? If so can you post pics? They look like they fasten to the lower a-arm different then the stock one.

Re: After market CPP front sway bar
Are you talking about this one? They connect with the end links and factory connect with the bushing type. most trucks have the bushing type connection, but either will work, cheapest way to go is get one off a truck in the JY, measure it and get the largest diameter you can. oh and all the clamps and stuff too.

Re: After market CPP front sway bar
They had that same bar (in gold color) on their EBAY store last week for $75 w/ free shipping. I picked one up, not too worried about the end link mounting, there are two holes in the lower control arm. If those don't work I'll drill another...

Re: After market CPP front sway bar
It's gone for some reason right now. I also bought an adjustable rear panhard for $40 / free shipping.
I cruise through there every so often and find good deals...not sure where it went? Maybe the deals were too good LOL

Re: After market CPP front sway bar
My sway bar came this week, and it is BEEFY. The documents say 1.25", haven't checked it with a mic but it's every bit or more and solid. I hit a road block and had to do some fabrication/welding because I'm using the old school DJM 3" dropped lower control arms. The end link style bushings fit fine on factory arms, but there is not room on the DJM's. Nothing I can't fix but it's taking some time.
I would definitely get this bar again though! I'll get some pics when it's finished.

Re: After market CPP front sway bar
I should update you all, I've had this installed for over a year and the CPP sway bar interferes with the steering arm and there is no way around it. I have lowered and raised it to no avail, when I turn at certain times the idler arm hits the bar and limits my turning radius...they don't have the bends like factory bars making them narrower at the front.

Re: After market CPP front sway bar
Thank you for the follow-up. I never got around to buying one and now I am glad that I didn't.

Re: After market CPP front sway bar
Hmmm, mine hits closer to the bend, I got under there and looked at it tonight. I love the CPP bar it's beefy and end links are better than the stock mounts but it aint gonna fit. I'll be looking for a stocker...

Looks like you've got plenty of room, must be my combo of drop components.
