bellhousing ?

i bought this 85 k20 which origanally came with a 6.2l diesel,sm465,and a np208.the po changed the 6.2l to a 350 and used the same bellhousing, now the starter keeps moving on me could it be because of the diesel bellhousing or because its missing the starter brace ? thanks to all that reply back.

Re: bellhousing ?

Or the wrong bolts. Stock bolts have a larger shank on them.
