harness question

am going to put a 5.3 in my 94 silverado. But was wondering if the motor will run using the factory computer or if i need the one that belongs to that motor.

you need the one that goes with the motor, also you will need to have the VATS taken off, vehicle Anti-Theft System before it will run more than 3 seconds.

ok will the factory fuel pump work for this? and any other info or advice on what all ill need to do.

I dont think it will, the 94 had the old LT motor in there and I believe it required lower fuel pressure similar to the GEN I motors, you need one that can supply 55-58 PSI constantly. if you have one that pushes more, then a fuel pressure regulator will be needed.

A 94-96 B-body (Caprice, Impala SS, Roadmaster) fuel pump will fit your sender & deliver the correct pressure & volume.
