Show me your front bag installs....

using the stock A-arms with tortion suspension.

With the open lower A-arms, how did you mount your bags?

What my plan was is to remove the tortion bars, weld a plate to the bottom of the lower A-arm and mount the bag there.

Im looking for one in an older one like a 60-62. The control arms are all open.

Re: Show me your front bag installs....

Let me show a few pics I just took. The issue I see is where the bag would mount at the top. That area is curved. On my 65 with coils, that area was flat.

With the lower control arm looks easy to work. Just weld a plate at the bottom of the A-arm and your good to go.

Re: Show me your front bag installs....

that curve might just be all the dirt and oil!! but serious, just weld a flat plate up?

Re: Show me your front bag installs....

Later LCA's would be better to work with. Theres already a lower bag mount in place, so to speak.
