S10 with LSx swap
I have a 51 on a 1997 s10 frame with a 5.3. I am at the point of the the fuel lines. First off, I have no experience with fuel lines besides changing a fuel filter. I have the corvette 2-in 1-out filter with the Russell quick connect adapters to connect into the engine.
Can anyone give me a heads up on what I need to do to connect the fuel pump to the filter? Connections, adapters, etc... The original return line runs all the way to the engine bay. Does it need to be removed completely or just cut and reflared? If cut, how would I go about getting it reflared after it was cut? If removed, how would I connect into the original connection on the fuel pump? I've looked on http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f213/l...mation-390967/ but it didn't answer my questions. Maybe I'm just not understanding what questions I even need to be asking.

since you have the corvette filter, I assume your fuel rail has only 1 input, right? also your filter goes between the tank and pump, right?
If this is all correct, -6 to pump and to rail from pump, -4 return to filter. I used russell brand braided lines and connections.

The AC Delco ep381 pump will work fine. For the connectors, Dorman makes repair lines that will fit into the Corvette filter and they also make the factory type quick connects if you're on a tight budget. Otherwise those aluminum ones that hook to AN fitings and braided stainless hose like Clyde65 posted are real nice.

Found some on Summit site, but your local auto part store should have them.
