Chevyfatman just left here...
yup, cheesewagon and chevy fat man just hauled outa here. Been hanging out here since like 3 PM, and I just lead paul (fat man) t the freeway a moment ago. (almost one AM now) Tom (Mr Cheesewagon) will probably be gettin home about now and reading this.
Y'all were drooling over fat man's Blazer pics....that's nothing, this rig is awsome. Set up with mini tubs and ladder bars/leaf springs, and slammed to an awsome stance. Awsome body on it too. |

Mr Cheese wagon was here too from the northern edge of the state, pickin up som items for another member. (sorry, can't remember the other guy's name.)
I kinda expected a burb with a real rust problem. My wife suprised me on this...she saw Tom in traffic as she was makin her way back this way and as soon as she saw it, she knew it was tom. Maybe becouse there is only one burb on the west side here and it is a total rust bucket and dead in a parking lot. (But the guy wants like 3,000 bucks since it is the RARE 3 DOOR!!!) Any how, here is Mr Wagon threatening to do a burn out on my quiet street. (quitet neighborhood with traffic doin 50 MPH as we are out there messin with our trucks) |

And the 'truck hunks' as Jodie would say....
Left to right...
Paul...Chevy Fat Man (why fat? I don't see a fat man there???) Tom...SwissCheese. And myself. Oh, and Paul's Co-Pilot too, but he is on the back side of my camera there. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 07-13-2003 at 01:24 AM. |

And of course, the trucks. A 71 K/5 2 wheel drive, a 71 suburban with reincarnated Jodie engine parts, a 72 (i think) C/10 long bed, my 69 1/2 ton GMC dressed in Chevy grill, and the one ton longhorn in the top of the driveway. (they got to hear it roar to life for a few seconds)
An honorable mention that is not in sight, my wife's Contour...hidden on the other side of the street. It took me a moment to get the right angle where her ford was not seen in this photo. We almost had one of every 2 wheel drive body style...in fleet beds anyways...al we woulda needed was a panel truck to complete the fleet of fleets. Tom...great seeing you, lookin forward to eein you at Mikes. Paul...you know you can swing by any time you're coming through. (his second time at the bat cave) Paul's co-pilot...Stop reading over Paul's shoulder and get a puter...then you can join us on here. |

Scott's (previous owner) really missin' that Blazer lol. That was one hell of a deal thats for sure. There's been alot of rear suspension work done and your right, that stance is perfect I think.
Enjoy the ride and keep us posted on the project... I know Scott will be interested in seeing it come back to life. |

I made the trip Randy, I don't know about safe the truck was swaying like crazy with that big block on the back, I did get it to do 70 after dropping off that BB.
Then my tranny started leaking, but I made it home ok, not bad considering the junker my longbed is huh? Thanks again Randy.

the guy's smile faded when Pauls says "Oh yeah, I have one of those." It was awsome. Y'all are welcome here any time. |

lol, I remember that Andy, a GM guy as he called himself but he was driving a Chrysler
Here's a pic of the ones I have, the yellow one belongs to my 6 yr. daughter, as you can tell she already shaved the grille 1969 GMC, the Longhorn is down for the moment, just installed a 500 CFM Holley carb last week and after I tried to fire it up, not juice, it's probably the starter selenoid, what's funny about having a 305 V-6 on it it's that guys at auto zone were so sure that my motor did not exist, they're like "there's not such thing as a 305 V-6" I bet a guy $100 that I could prove it by bringing the truck to the store, and behold, the guy saw it but he wouldn't pay now when I walk in there he won't even look at me, now he knows better It will be soon on the road again, I like driving that truck, long live the GMC's!

So you guys think the old burb isn't that rusty. I guess that how the wife, and kids see's it too. I had really had a good time sat. nite. That was really cool to see that many trucks of this vintage in one spot. It was nice meeting other board menbers, looking forward to Ohio meet in August. Latter, Mr. Wagon.

It's really too bad I didn't get a pic of the burb that was in our junk yard, the 1/4s were rusted clear up to the glass...I have no idea why the glass didn't fall out.
Typical ohio crap. |
