Newbie with a 63

Hey guys,
I was just given a 63 with a 283. I'm very new to the classic truck scene. I've never even owned a vehicle with a carb, but very excited. I was told last time the truck ran it had a small electrical fire under the hood, which shouldn't be hard to fix. I'll be searching a lot and this site looks to have a lot of info. Enjoy the pics,
Mark

Welcome to the forum Mark

That looks like a decent truck. An uncut dash and looks like a pretty straight grill.

The straight grill alone is invaluable since you cant buy a reproduced one for a 63. Definitely a better start than most. Welcome to the board from South New Mexico
