What oil pan to use if i want my truck to lay frame
I just picked up a gen IV 6.0 with a 6L90e trans, im tinking the pan and maybe the trans might be too deep to lay the truck out without lifting it and cutting up the floor for clearance. Whats your thoughts. thanks

You'll need a pan from a 98-02 ls1 fbody car. Camaro, firebird, trans am. Pick up tube and windage tray will also be needed

What about the GM Performance muscle car pan? You can get a new kit with pan, windage tray, pickup, bolts, dipstick for $150.

Good info! Sobay
The muscle pan price is right on they need to come up with an equally priced fbody kit, it should be cheaper imho less material should equal lower cost... good ole supply and demand, I'm looking on ebay trying to run across one Posted via Mobile Device |

What motor mounts are you using? I used the ECE setup and a Cadillac CTsV pan on my 69 Burb.
