How do you get the headlight switch knob off?
I know this was posted many times and of course I didn't commit it to memory. Search is down so I'm going to need someone to share their wisdom with me. In addition to this question, can the dash bezel piece be replaced without puling the whole gage assembly out? It looks to me like the front screws can be removed from the bezel and then the attaching screws on the back can be removed allowing just the bezel to come out. Any input would be appreciated. I did manage to get the windshield wiper knob of and the nut removed so the only thing stopping me now is the headlight knob. Thanks, Don

Reach up underneath the dash, and feel for the headlight switch directly behind the headlight knob. On top, you will feel a little spring-loaded button. Push down on the button, and wiggle and pull out the headlight know. Should come right out
Pulling the dash is so easy, i would go ahead and pull it to put on the new bezel. Just disconnect the oil pressure line, wiring harness (directly behind the gas guage), and speedometer cable, then unscrew it and pull it out. Good luck!

I usually just yanked that knob and rod right out, I didn't even know about that release button. I like your way better.

Thanks to all for your assistance. Thank you yellow72custom. I decided to pull the whole thing and it went very smoothly. It's all back together now and look real nice.
