Any pics of burbs that have shaved drip rails?
I know I have been posting a lot of questions the past few weeks guys....but dangit....I'm getting excited about my burb. This question is probably a easy one and has also been posted tons of times....but I need to ask anyway....does anyone have any pic of burbs with their drip rails removed and would it really make any difference if I removed mine?

I have a feeling they were put there for a reason. It even rains in southern California. |

The doors will prob leak if removed. I have wondered if a single horizontal rail would be smoother.

Re: Any pics of burbs that have shaved drip rails?
I removed mine becouse of rust problem and after putting plastic filler I could never get the same shape again of the body. I does not leak into the door when it is closed, but when it rains and I am opening the door a flood is going down on my arm and on the seat. I tried to put a string of silicone there instead of the rail but it worked out not as good as the rail.

Here are some pictures. No dripping rails, but I have to say that I need some new weatherstripping. When it rains, it also rains in the car My Sub has no moldings at all. If the Sub is fixed with new rubber, I'll tell you if it's stay dry. I live in the Netherlands and sometimes it will rain for days. Sub stays dry under a carport when not in use Greets from Holland............say cheese Mark |
