Are these doors OEM?
These doors are on my 75. Can anyone tell me if they are OEM? They are really nice, but the rest of the truck is a little more rough so I am wondering if they have been changed.
My plan is to sell the doors, and I don't want to advertise them as OEM if they are aftermarket. On the same hand I don't want to sell cherry OEM doors at used aftermarket door prices. This thread is not a for sale thread, just throwing that out there so you know why I am asking.

Re: Are these doors OEM?
The only way to tell is to grab the handle with the door shut and push/pull it back and forth. Do it to a truck you KNOW has aftermarket doors and you will know the difference. You can "feel" it. The whole door skin will "flex" quite a bit. After you've felt the difference, it's something you never forget while grabbing the handle of a square.

Hey, I know people in Watertown!! Funny. How heavy do the doors feel? Aftermarket doors are lighter. Stamp and look seem original.

Re: Are these doors OEM?
I didn't think 73-76 doors were reproduced, so I am thinking they are GM doors.

Re: Are these doors OEM?
Those 5 indentations at the perimeter of where the door panel sit seem odd now that I think about it. Look at the 76 burb being parted out in the parts forum, your doors look different than his.

Re: Are these doors OEM?
That is exactly what I was thinking my 76 doesn't have that either and I know my doors are factory originals

Re: Are these doors OEM?
I did not think the 73-76 doors wer reproduced either but maybe so. The drain holes on the bottom of the doors are larger than any I remember seeing also . I wonder if those doors came off of a big truck ? Like a C50( I do not know if that is the right designation). Anyone have a pic of the large truck series doors?

Re: Are these doors OEM?
I've honestly never felt an A/M door, but if it is worse than the OE's, damn.
I always wanted to get back there and put in a reinforcement plate of some sort, just to stiffen it up. I guess I would if I put on an A/M shell.

Re: Are these doors OEM?
I though so just looked and looks like they all carry them at least the places that carry body panels
