454 engine

Im selling the motor out of my Suburban and going BB Olds powered. The motor was rebuilt about 8k miles ago. Swapped over to carburated. It has early 820 oval port heads with big valves installed and adjustable rockers. Weiand action plus intake, Q jet carb, HEI distributor. Flat top pistons (should be just at 9:1 compression) 4 bolt mains, and 8 qt oil pan. It was a damn good motor ran stront with no smoke or noises. Then a lifter went on it. I swapped cam and lifters and that lasted about 50 miles before it started a small knock. So the bottom end will need to be gone through. IE turn the crank and new bearings. The motor will come complete with intake, carb, distributor, wires, fuel pump, water pump, power steering pump, pulleys, and brackets. Im an Oldsmobile guy anyway so this is a good reason for a Olds swap for me. Or ill even sell the suburban complete with the motor (the burban came straight from Las Vegas so no rust! ) I also just had the trans completely rebuilt 2K miles ago. The motor is still in the truck and you can hear it run right now. $800 obo or maybe open to trades for a good BB Olds motor Email or call with any questions. 63o-885-11o1 Josh

Re: 454 engine

I might be willing to part out the motor I.E. shortblock, heads, pulley/brackets, intake. If enough people are interested.
