kit should work just fine, no c-notch needed with a 5" drop. There are a lot of members running that same exact drop with no problems.

Re: will 3/5 CPP drop kit work for me?
I recently installed the 3" front, replacing my cut stockers. It actually raised mine some. It looks low and is almost touching the bumpstops on my lower a arms, which are off a 1975.
I am probably going to cut 1/2 coil off these to get the look I want. Got to see the rears first. I am in the process of swapping the 5" into the rear on mine as well. Replacing stockers that I assume were heated. Looks like it will sit about the same in rear, which makes me think I may add a 1" block. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: will 3/5 CPP drop kit work for me?
you will not need a c-notch with a cpp 5" rear drop spring. i have cpp 5" rear springs, along with 1.5" blocks. i just finished installing a c-notch in mine, as it was needed at that point. you will have about 3" of clearance running just the drop springs. you will need to remove the factory bumpstops.

Re: will 3/5 CPP drop kit work for me?
ya the back is easy..no C notch is needed unless you want the frame on the ground........the front gets to be a headache with the drop spindle that has to have the disc brake upgrade. you can cut the spring down and run it...i did this for years but it wears out the outter inche of the tire.... If you want to put airbags you have to put in the 2.5 drop spindle and disc brakes....and then the stock rims don't fit so you need to get 18's or 20's.....seems to never end. Do it right the first time....get the front disc brake kit, and ball joints, tie rod ends if you need new ones....the 2.5 drop spindle, the rev 7 air bag kit from SDoors, and 20 inche rims....
