what to look out for?
Considering buying a '84 c30 crew 3+3 has a 350 roughly 150,000 (guy says) supposed to run great he said it doesn't look good but is rot free. Trans is good he says. In took truck in on partial trade. What should I look out for mechanically? Truck is rough, in and out. No breather, no 5th wheel, no ac. I know to look out for with steering gearbox breaking off frame. Any advice on what to check, is greatly appreciated.

Re: what to look out for?
rot/rust is the major issue on these square bodies.. I would thoroughly inspect the cab mounts, and like you said the frame by the steering box. I recently found out that lower control arms can be an issue for the smaller trucks, . other than that other than that parts are easy to find and most things are not really issues..

Re: what to look out for?
Thanks for advice. I know this fell through for a reason, I started to ask the guy questions about the truck. And
He said I sounded to complicated and hung up. What an asshole! Posted via Mobile Device |

Thanks for advice. I know this trade fell through for a reason, I started to ask the guy questions about the truck. And for more important pics, frame.
He said I sounded to complicated and hung up. What an asshole! He actually thought he would come and see mine but leave his at home. Some people. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |
