Member hot trux wins big at Showfest 2011
Just got home from the 2011 Showfest carshow held in Tunica, MS.
I tagged along with member hot trux, and his red '85 stepside. Jeff not only won in his class,... he also took home the Best of Show "Truck" out of all of the super nice rides. I just wanted to be the first to say a BIG congrats to Jeff,... and well deserved recognition for all his hard work building his truck. (This is the build thread for Jeff's truck: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...light=hot+trux) Also,... here's a few pics of his truck and the COOL "Best of Show" trophys given away at Showfest.

The paint job on the truck "Award" looks the best. Can't help but feel those strats are missing something though lol.
It isn't hard to spot why he won. That truck is clean!

Nice to see your high quality work was recognized. The trophy is a cool presentation. If you want a real Strat to match your truck, let me know. Building them is one of my other hobbies.They are a lot easier than trucks.

A well deserved acknowledgement of the quality of work he performed on that truck. We have all seen the build pics and tricks and know the detail that went into it . I wish I could see that one in person .

I agree.
I think the values of the 73-87 trucks are growing quickly. They use to be the dirt cheap trucks. The problem is finding them in really NICE condition. They are the new affordable "classic" chevy trucks.
