1972 gmc 2wd long bed to 4wd questions
I have an all original 2wd 1/2 ton long bed truck,never been touched bodywise,engines all original 350 4barrel carb,turbo 350 tranny,I'm wanting to convert it to a 4wd,I don't want to take the body off the original frame n swap to a 4wd chassis. There r several 73 to 85 4x4s here I can get cheap,if I remove the leaf spring hangers front ant rear of front end will it mount up to my exsisting frame? Same goes for rear end and hangers?any advise would b greatly appreciated. Thanx
