Questions regarding doing drop on my truck
So I'm ready to do the drop but not sure how low and what exact parts to get. I'm leaning towards a 4/6 drop and I'm thinking I would need to change the obvious: springs, shocks, rear shocks relocaters, and install an adjustable rear trak.
Am I missing anything? Where's the best place to buy all that i need? Thanks for your help. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Questions regarding doing drop on my truck
I'm a big fan of Early Classics for suspension. Did their 4/6 on a 72 blazer and very happy with the ride. Now on to a 70 pickup. Called them several times for questions on other projects and they are pretty helpful.

Re: Questions regarding doing drop on my truck
There are several great vendors on here - Early Classic Enterprises or Classic Performance would probably be closest to you. Are you upgrading to disks?

Posted via Mobile Device Also, Jeff from CPP says their 3/4 drop is the same as "others" 4/6 drop. I also saw on Ebay the CPP set-up (shocks & springs) for $319 w/free shipping

Re: Questions regarding doing drop on my truck
Mike- If your going to order from CPP, I don't suggest getting it from eBay. Call Jeff and ask him for his best deal. Jeff usually has to make good for orders that go through eBay.

Re: Questions regarding doing drop on my truck
If I went with the 4/6 drop, does my truck need to be disc or can I get away with it being drums?
Also, would I need to c-notch the rear? Not wanting to at this point so maybe I would not go 6" in the rear. Thanks guys Looks like I will also be going with ECE as I have yet to hear back from Jeff. Posted via Mobile Device
