installing locking hubs
Ive got an 85 k30 and the po had already converted it over to manual locking hubs but he failed to keep them on tight and they fell out. I bought some new super winch hubs and my question is how should I lube them before putting them in. What should I use. It looks like he had a bunch of grease on them, should I put more grease?

Re: installing locking hubs
I just lubed mine with some fresh grease and installed them. They don`t need to be packed full of grease, just coated.

Re: installing locking hubs
Yeah, I just rebuilt mine and the rebuild manual called for a light coat of grease in the internals.
