I'm in the process or converting my C10 from drum to disks in the front.
I just ordered a new master brake cilinder with brake booster..but I am puzzeled where to connect the vacuum hose.

I see a connection on my intake manifold, but it's connected to a metal hose/line and goes in the direction of the transmition.. what is that connection for??

The vacuum line goes to the tranny, part of the kickdown for a TH350 IIRC. If you can't find an actual "T" for the booster option, just go the your hardware store and get a brass "T" fitting and then hose barb fittings for that one and the booster. If it wasn't dark out, I would take a pic of mine.

You need a fitting like pictured in link. Wrecking yard or parts store possibly.

You could also run that trans vacuum line to a manifold vacuum port on your carb, the use the intake port for the brakes. Or, and I'm not that familiar with the carb you have, but most carbs have a 3/8" manifod vacuum port on them, so you could route the PB line to it. There's a few different ways to skin that cat.

ok so i have options, either a T connection, or a seperate connection.
