Put some Kuhmos on the 98 GMC several years ago, those things have worn like iron (still a lot of tread left). Just pust some Yokohamas on the Jimmy Saturday, 2 days in I still like them.

Futura is pep boys house brand I think. Ive had good luck with yokohama and bfg

ya ive had bfg many of times, im trying to go a little cheeper this time around and ya thoes are pep boys house brand they look good, just seeing if its worth saveing the 150 bucks on them

I used to work at pep boys in the service dept yeah those are pep boys house brand of tires there made by someone else but branded as futura's i cant recall who actually makes them.There good for the most part the only thing bad i heard about them from one of the mechanics i used to work with there is they do separate and on a car with suspension or alignment issues they do wear alot easier since there kind of a soft tire.I'm not telling you not to buy them as they are a decent tire for the price but also keep in mind there is a reason why there a low end,house brand tire.

Coopers are very good in the wear department. Years ago there was an Armstrong brand that were great. Does anyone know if they are still available?

michelin and never look back. yes they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. will last. 70k miles + !!

i work for goodyear and i still recommend michelins to people !

I have BFG commercial load range D on my 83 C20 - they are OK and wear well but nothing special - I got them because they were the cheapest tire I could find at the time at Costco - about $460 installed for 4. In the desert tires weather check and dry rot quickly so it does not pay to spend big $$ for tires.
I had factory General tires on my 2010 Sierra and they were nice for wear and handling - recommended highly by Consumer Reports.
Michelins are tops for me but I would not pay extra for them for my old truck for the reason mentioned above. I had factory Michelins on a 2011 Equinox I just sold and they had the best sidewalls of any tire I have had. The other brands show "waves" in the sidewall where they are put together (especially Goodyear) and I never saw a Michelin do that.

X2 my grandpa had the discover h/t style on his 1ton cc 4x4 and the never really looked worn at all after 70,000 he only changed them because he need a more aggressive tread for were he was working (very muddy)

BFG radial t/a. I had mine since 2003 and they still are holding air. Daily driver. I had goodyear and goodrich on the same car and the goodyears wore out WAY faster. I don't like goodyears for anything but racing. I don't think coopers are bad. Kumho tires I have dry rotted quickly.

Kelly-Springfield makes a good wearing tire. Also made in the good ol' USA.

Helps keep Americans working!

Kumhos are ok, but every sidewall on them looks like they're about to bubble. They're also imported, so I steer clear of them. Made in Korea, or China.

Cheapest is not always the best-est!
