Looking For a Rear Bumper

I'm looking for a certain type of rear bumper. I have seen this style on many trucks but can't find it anywhere online. I'd like to put one on my 86 to replace the current one that was bent when rear ended. Here is a picture of the style I am looking for on a Ford. Thanks for any help

Re: Looking For a Rear Bumper

We used to call that a cowboy bumper, they were popular in Texas before the Ranch Hand/pipe bumper craze.

+1, they're called cowboys. That should help you with finding one.

Yep, Cowboy Bumper. Shine her up really good and it'll keep people from tailgatin' ya at night.

Re: Looking For a Rear Bumper

I remember in the 80's that most trucks came without rear bumpers on them. Most dealerships here would put a Bundy chrome bumper on them. You could get the Bundy bumper in a 8", 10" and 12" drop, they were also universal pretty much. They'd fit Dodge, Ford and GM. The 8" was $150, 10" was $170 and 12" was $190 our cost, came with all the bolts and everything, including tag lamps.

Wish I could find one that cheap now. Only one I've even seen is from JcWhitney and it was close to $400
