looking for good paint shop in Northeast Florida

Hello everyone,

I got a paint/body quote for my 1955 gmc 1st series pickup. There is some body work to do, but the paint is pretty good all the way around. There is some chipping here and there, but for the most part I think it's not that bad. That was until I got this quote. 31.5 hrs at a price of 2898.00 for dissassembly, 44hrs of body work at a price of 4048.00. 87 hrs of paint at a price of 8004.00. 37hrs of assembly at a price of 3404.00, and 1420.00 for paint supplies. The truck will be spot sanded. So the entire truck will not be taken down to bare metal. the cab and bed will not be removed. The doors will remain on the truck. The grille, the front fenders, the front bumper and the front and rear window will be removed. I also just wanted it painted the same color. Needless to say that If anyone in northeast florida or southeast georgia knows of a good painter. please let me know.

Check your PM. I'm in Southeast Georgia but I do work for guys all over the US. May be because my rates are too low! =)
